Summer Farm Adventure

Experience how Norwegians used to live as farmers! Much of the gastronomy and the economics of the land was – and still it is – based on the passionated, dedicated and hard work of the farmers who used – and some still do – to live on summer farms during the summer, following ancient rythms in contact with the nature. Join a budeia (summer farmer) for an intriguing 3-days experience on a summer farm where you will be able to follow budeia in her daily routines and experience what it feels like to work in a natural environment in contact with animals. You will also discover areas of this region which are popular among locals but away from the beaten path of the tourists.
