A New Setting for Our Annual Gathering
On October 20th, we welcomed our valued partners and suppliers to our annual Jotunheimen Travel Partner Event, this year hosted at Beito Resort in Beitostølen.
After traditionally combining our partner event with the Rakfisk Festival in Fagernes, we decided to try something different this year. By moving the event to a separate date, we hoped to make it easier for more of our partners to join us for a day dedicated to collaboration, inspiration and future opportunities.
Under this year’s theme, “From Experience to Development,” we came together to reflect on another exciting year and explore how we can continue improving the experiences we offer our guests.

Looking Back – and Moving Forward
The morning was dedicated to highlights from our summer and winter seasons, including exciting developments in hiking, cycling and winter adventures.
We shared encouraging results, valuable feedback from our guests and our ambitions for the coming seasons. From the growing interest in lodge-to-lodge adventures to our efforts to establish Mjølkevegen as an international gravel cycling destination, there is plenty to look forward to!
But behind every successful trip is a network of dedicated local businesses. Our accommodation providers, transport partners, activity suppliers and guides all play an essential role in creating memorable experiences in Valdres and Jotunheimen.

Embracing Digitalisation Together
A major focus of this year’s event was digitalisation and the future of tourism.
With the introduction of our new booking system, Citybreak, we explored how digital solutions can simplify booking processes, improve collaboration and make it easier for guests to discover and book experiences.
We were delighted to welcome representatives from Visit Group, who presented the opportunities their solutions offer our partners.
An engaging panel discussion brought together tourism partners, Visit Group representatives and our own booking team to explore how technology and artificial intelligence can help us work smarter, become more efficient and meet the changing expectations of tomorrow’s travellers.

The Customer Is King!
Another highlight of the afternoon was an inspiring presentation by Atle Hovi, titled “The Customer Is King!”
His presentation put the spotlight on something that remains at the heart of everything we do: our guests.
While technology and digital solutions continue to develop, excellent hospitality, personal service and authentic experiences remain just as important as ever.
Stronger Together
Beyond the presentations and discussions, our annual partner event is about something even more important: bringing people together.
The day offered plenty of opportunities for exchanging ideas, sharing experiences and strengthening relationships. We rounded off the event with informal conversations and a lovely three-course dinner at Beito Resort.
We believe that the best travel experiences are created through strong local partnerships. By sharing knowledge, embracing new opportunities and working towards common goals, we can continue developing Valdres and Jotunheimen as attractive, sustainable destinations for travellers from around the world.
Thank You for Being Part of Our Journey!
A heartfelt tusen takk to everyone who joined us at Beito Resort and to all our fantastic partners who contribute to our work throughout the year.
Your dedication, hospitality and local expertise are what make our adventures truly special.
We look forward to another year of great collaboration, new opportunities and unforgettable experiences!
Your Jotunheimen Travel Team from Fagernes
