The group stays together with the guide at Tyinholmen Fjellstue in a cozy cabin and will get to know each other there well. During the evening the trips will be planned together in cozy atmosphere and delicious food will be served from.

Tyinholmen is located on the shoreline of lake Tyin and offers great views over the lake and into Jotunheimen. You cannot get to Tyinholmen by car in winter so you need to step onboard of one of the historical snowcoaches that serves transportation to Tyinholmen in winter time.

Here, the good old mountain spirit from former days has been preserved, but wooden skis and evening dresses have been replaced with shell clothing and modern ski equipment.

Breakfast and packing a packed lunch for a long day out hiking. Our goal is to ski towards one of the 2000 meter peaks nearby, such as Uranostind or Langeskavltind, as long as the conditions allow. This will be a long hike starting from the doorstep of Tyinholmen to approx. 2000 m.

We cross a snow-covered glacier and on the way down there is a nice descent in majestic nature. When we return from the tour we are treated to a 3-course dinner and can then put our feet up in front of the fireplace or enjoy the sun.
