Day to day
Experience the dramatic contrasts of Norway’s winter—blinding white landscapes, crisp mountain air, and Jotunheimen’s majestic peaks. While Norway is a popular summer destination, its longest season—winter—offers a serene yet invigorating experience, rich with silence, fresh air, and activities beyond the ski slopes.
This carefully curated 5-day winter holiday features low-difficulty experiences, making the wonders of Norwegian winter accessible to all. Departing from Oslo, a scenic bus ride brings you to Beitostølen, a charming winter resort at the gateway to Jotunheimen. Your adventure begins with an exhilarating dogsledding experience, complete with the heartwarming joy of puppy cuddles. Feeling energized? Extend your adventure with additional winter activities such as snowshoeing.
After two days in Beitostølen, you will journey to Tyinkrysset, where snow coaches transport you to the remote mountain village of Eidsbugarden. Here, embrace the serenity of winter on a self-guided snowshoe hike, traversing quiet mountain paths before returning to Tyinkrysset. (if you are travelling in December to mid of February the snwocoaches are not running and you will have a second snowshoeing hike in Filefjell instead)
The following day, a guided snowshoe trek along the historic Kingsroad awaits. This ancient route once connected eastern and western Norway, offering a journey through breathtaking Lærdal valley, where history and nature merge seamlessly. Let your guide lead the way as you take in the raw, untouched beauty of the Norwegian landscape.
On the final day, return to civilization via snow coach and bus. For those seeking an urban contrast, extend your trip with a journey to Bergen, swapping snowy trails for a scenic Fjord Cruise from Flåm—a perfect conclusion to your Nordic adventure.
