Beitostølen
Snowshoeing (every Wednesday at 15.00): Snowshoeing is something for everybody. Easy to learn and more or less like hiking, it is possible to have a good time out in the mountains. On this guided hike we will, depending on weather and snow conditions, explore the surrounding nature from Beitostølen.
NOK 1.125
Available each Wednesday, 15.00 (3 h, min age 7)
Airboarding: we gave skiing and sledging techniques a modern twist! Use your body to shoot downhill on an inflatable sledge; our instructors will teach you how to control the direction with your body, but remember, caution – plus helmet and goggles – first!
NOK 715
Available every Tuesday at 15.30 (1 h, min age 10 years)
Snow rafting: possibility is the mother of the invention – more or less. Mountains were used for skiing slopes in ages, why not using the same slopes for rafting? It has been a popular activity for those with a strong inclination for quick adrenaline rushes, and low physical activity, but unforgettable memories… Ready for a ride?
NOK 1.125
Available each Wednesday, 15.00 (1,5 h, min age 7)
Årdalstangen:
Snowshoe hike Paradisjuvet: 5 km are well worth the jaw-dropping views from this secluded viewpoint, known just to the locals and our guides 😉 If until now you haven’t had the occasion to take out your camera (or phone), we strongly suggest you to do it on this hike… After all, you will need plausible evidence that you hiked in untouched nature!
Winter kayaking: Not a fan of the masses? Try paddling in wintertime. Crisp air, frosty waters, but above all… nearly no sound, just the lapping of your paddle dipping in waters… Winter paddling it’s perfect when you need to reconnect to yourself and let your soul speak with its own voice and your heart breath among the majestic heights of the Sognefjord…

If you want to combine Oslo and Bergen, this is a great idea! It takes as well about 4 hours and you will reach the second city of the kingdom. Depending on where you want to end your trip, you can change your train at Myrdal and catch the connection to either Oslo or to Bergen. Your luggage will be transported to your hotel (if you book your accommodation with us as an extension of the package)
