You are welcome to add a night at Beitostølen in a wilderness cabin or at the Radisson Blue Mountain Resort. We offer as well other activities you can do the other day to extend your stay to a two-day experience. Please contact us for advice.
Schedule
Early in the morning (8.30am) you will leave Oslo with our comfortable bus.
On this 4-hours bus tour from Oslo to Beitostølen you will pass through the valley of Begnadalen and the beautiful region of Valdres, before arriving Beitostølen skiing resort. Outside the window you will probably be able to see frozen lakes, waterfalls, and a perfectly white landscape colored by traditional Norwegian lodge houses.
When you arrive in Beitostølen the guide will pick you up and drive with you to the husky farm where dozens of huskies are awaiting you.
Come meet puppy huskies in the heart of Norway for an unforgettable, guided experience. This family-friendly activity is perfect for anyone who loves dogs and wants to learn more about huskies and sled dogs. The first nine months of a sled dog’s life are crucial, and during this visit, you’ll play an important role in helping our puppies develop the skills they need to grow into strong, confident sled dogs.
Spend an afternoon walking, playing, cuddling, feeding, and training them, with activities carefully adapted to their age and stage of growth. Along the way, our experienced guide will share fascinating insights into husky behavior, training, and life as part of a sled dog team.
A joyful, hands-on adventure, this activity offers both fun and learning, while giving you the chance to bond with these irresistible puppies.
We will serve you feshly home-made waffles before you need to say goodbye to your four-legged friends to catch the bus back to Oslo where you will arrive approximately at 10pm
Important details
All the necessary equipment is included like a warm overall and thermos boot.
As for all winter activities, it´s important to dress appropriately to match the Norwegian winter weather conditions.
Previous experience not needed for joining this trip.
Children are welcome to join this tour, accompanied by an adult.
