My name is Magali, I’m a student from Germany currently pursuing a degree in International Tourism Management – and right now, I’m lucky enough to be doing an internship with JVB Travel in beautiful Norway.
Ever since I was little, I’ve loved to travel. Exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and meeting people from all over the world has always fascinated me. After spending two years abroad, I realized just how deeply rooted this passion really is. So being able to study something that combines my love for travel with my career is truly a dream come true.
An intership in one of the nicest places in Norway
My fascination with Scandinavian countries played a big role in bringing me to Norway. This is my first time here, and I couldn’t be more excited. Through my internship at JVB Travel, I not only get to experience this stunning country firsthand but also gain insights into the tourism industry from behind the scenes. Seeing how everything works—from planning trips to helping others explore Norway—has been incredibly interesting and inspiring.
It’s amazing to finally be in a country I’ve always wanted to visit, while also taking important steps in my professional journey. I’m looking forward to making the most of this opportunity, learning as much as I can, and of course, discovering everything Norway has to offer.

What are your first impressions of Norway and the people here?
My first impression was that it’s a beautiful country with breathtaking nature and the people are really helpful, understanding and welcoming.
Do you have some bucketlist things you want to do in Norway?
I really want to see the mountains, waterfalls, glaciers and maybe some northern lights if I’m able to.
Have you already got some recommendations from your colleagues for what to do during the summer season?
That I should go hiking, on a boat trip and see the mountains are some of the things I got recommended for the summer season.
