After riding, you enjoy a light dinner in the lounge together with the rest of the group. You get a trip overview and some practical information to get ready for the big day.

If you haven’t been riding for a while or if you just wish to ride more, you can arrive earlier at the farm and add a lesson or a half-day horseback riding.

After breakfast you meet the group again in the stables before saddling up and hitting the trails with your horse. Halfway through the day, you take a break where the horses can get some water while you enjoy your packed lunch and some coffee around a campfire. The trip continues with awesome views on the surroundings before reaching the mountain cabin in the late afternoon. Here you’ll spend the night. The cabin has a simple standard without electricity or running water but guarantees you a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. The adventurous ones are welcome to take a swim in a fresh mountain lake.

Day 3

Horseback ride back to civilization

Enjoy an easy morning at the cabin with a nice breakfast. If the weather permits it, you might take it outside in the morning sun while embracing the calm of the nature surrounding you before getting ready for a new day riding. Today’s ride will depend of the level of the group and the weather, but there will be time for enjoying your packed lunch in the mountains. You are back at the farm around 15, saddle off your horse and give him a good brush before saying goodbye to your buddy.

Take the express bus back from Myhre Gård (Beitostølen) to Oslo in the late afternoon. You might arrive late in Oslo, so we would recommend having a snack with you for the bus ride or eventually booking an extra dinner at the farm (on request) if you have to wait long until your bus leaves Myhre Gård.
